Isaiah 40:22

“[It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:”

Isaiah 22:18

“He will surely violently turn and toss thee [like] a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory [shall be] the shame of thy lord’s house.”

The Bible says that a circle is not a ball, or these two verses would have been equivalent and used the same word. The KJV uses precise language to teach concepts, and to help the student rightly divide the truth (

2 Timothy 2:15

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

What shape is the earth, then, according to the Bible?

Matthew 4:8

“Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;”

What is the physical framework that would allow the devil to take someone to a high enough place to show him all the kingdoms of the world?

Any “pastor” that spews lies is in big, big trouble.

Psalms 101:7

“He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.”

Proverbs 12:22

“Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.”

Revelation 21:8

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
